Hydatid disease survey

Hello! I’m a PhD researcher at Aberystwyth University working on a project centred around sheepdog behaviour and flock management in Wales and the bordering counties.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🐑 I’m looking to hear from Sheepdog Workers and Sheep farmers to help understand hydatid disease risk, a little-known disease which can affect livestock and human health.
⏱️ Time: 10–15 minutes.
🔒 Privacy: Completely confidential.
💚 Giving Back: To thank you for your time, £3 will be donated to The DPJ Foundation for every completed survey (up to £750 total) to support mental health in our agricultural communities.

Set up a membership Direct Debit – no need to go to your bank

The Society has an account with GoCardless to set up and collect guaranteed direct debit payments from members without the need to visit your bank.

If you require this facility please contact the “Admin. & Finance Services” postholder (Martin) below

admin@northwalessheepdogsociety.org.uk

You will be sent an email invitation with a secure link to complete your Direct Debit form.

Alternatively this can be completed for you if you provide your bank Sort Code and Account Number to the Admin. & Finance Services” postholder.

This is a secure arrangement and includes the direct debit guarantee.

Having a direct debit in place saves you having to remember to renew every year or adjust the amount due.

The guarantee protects customers from payments taken in error. In the case of any incorrect or fraudulent payments, the payer is entitled to a full and immediate refund from their bank.

The Direct Debit Guarantee protects customers in three ways –

  1. Notifications – Customers must be notified in advance of each payment. Failure to follow the scheme rules can result in refunds under the Guarantee (or even a merchant being barred from the scheme).

  2. Refunds – Customers are entitled to a full and immediate refund of any payment that has been taken in error.

  3. Cancellations – customers can cancel a Direct Debit mandate by contacting their bank. If any Direct Debit collections are made after the cancellation, a refund can be provided under the Guarantee.
